Born from the desire to take their jam sessions out of the living room, the Stephen Mougin Band has been touring in the Middle Tennessee region since early 2008. Longtime friends and fellow musicians, the band consists of two musical couples. The Daleys hail from Looe, England and Cedar Rapids, Iowa respectively and have shared a passion for bluegrass and acoustic music since they first met. The Mougins are from Ashfield, Massachusetts and Bratislava, Slovakia and they cherish each opportunity to raise their voices in harmony.

This multi-national, multi-cultural, and multi-musical ensemble keeps one foot firmly planted in bluegrass soil while carefully and cautiously dipping its big toe in the tepid water of other genres. The band features award winning vocalists teamed with strong, rhythmic instrumentation bringing their styles and influences together for a powerful musical experience.
